Commercial Solar EPCC Malaysia

Express Mission supports commercial and industrial solar projects in Malaysia through an EPCC scope covering engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. Each solar PV system is customized for the site, customer energy requirements, installation needs and project scope.

Business Solar Solutions

What is solar EPCC?

Solar EPCC brings engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning into one coordinated project scope. For a commercial solar installation, this can include site and requirement review, system planning for current and future requirements, equipment procurement, installation coordination, testing, commissioning and project handover according to the agreed scope.

Every project proposal is based on site-specific information rather than a generic system size or savings estimate.

Commercial and Industrial Solar PV Systems

Express Mission provides coordinated solar EPCC services for offices, retail properties, warehouses, factories and production facilities across Malaysia.

Each commercial or industrial solar project is planned around the site’s actual energy usage—not roof space alone. Key considerations include:

We coordinate with building owners, facility teams, consultants and other stakeholders to support smooth project planning and implementation.

Project Delivery Process

Residential Solar PV Systems

Express Mission also provides solar EPCC services for residential properties. Each system is designed according to the household’s electricity consumption, available roof area and property conditions.

Our site-specific approach covers system sizing, roof and shading assessments, electrical requirements and coordinated installation—giving homeowners a solar PV solution suited to their actual needs.

Solar Programme Options

Our solar EPCC project scope

Step 1
Project Planning
Engineering

The engineering stage develops the project basis from the available site and electrical information. This will include customer’s requirement , site conditions, layout design, electrical planning, coordination needs and identification of project scope and budget constraints.

Step 2
Equipment Sourcing
Procurement

Procurement covers the agreed equipment and materials for the solar PV project. Product selection should follow the approved design, project requirements, availability and relevant technical considerations rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Step 3
Site Execution
Construction

Construction includes installation and site coordination according to the agreed design and work plan, and local authority requirements, accessibility to site, work sequencing, safety requirements and coordination with existing customer operations should be addressed before work commencement.

Step 4
System Handover
Commissioning

Testing and commissioning ensures that the installed system is ready for handover according to the agreed project scope. Training,  documentation and operating responsibilities are part of the  handover process.

Step 5
Ongoing Support
Operation and Maintenance

The handover should define monitoring, inspection, maintenance and issue-reporting responsibilities. Solar maintenance requirements depend on the final system and operating environment.

Financing Options

NEM Malaysia and project eligibility

Net Energy Metering, commonly searched as NEM Malaysia, may be relevant to some solar PV projects. Currently, the Solar Accelerated Transition Action Programme (Solar ATAP) is the current program applicable for Peninsular Malaysia. NEM Sabah was launched more recently to support similar goals in East Malaysia.
Programme availability, eligibility, capacity rules, application procedures and commercial treatment can change and should be verified against the applicable requirements at the time of the project. Express Mission can discuss how an applicable programme may affect the proposed project scope, but approval or savings should not be assumed before the relevant technical and programme review is completed. While our EPCC scope focuses heavily on commercial and industrial demands, the residential segment, on the other hand, allows homeowners to utilize these same programs with smaller-scale systems.

Ongoing System Support

Solar leasing and PPA options

Some businesses explore solar leasing Malaysia or a solar PPA Malaysia as alternatives to direct capital purchase. Whether either option is available or appropriate depends on the project, commercial structure, site conditions, contracting parties and current programme requirements.

Customers interested in leasing or PPA arrangements should state this during the initial discussion. Availability and commercial terms must be confirmed for the specific project.

Why Express Mission

Solar maintenance and after-sales planning

A commercial solar PV system should have a defined monitoring and maintenance approach. Depending on the system and agreed scope, planning may address visual inspections, performance review, cleaning considerations, electrical checks, issue reporting and safe access.

The final maintenance responsibilities and frequency should follow the installed system, site conditions, manufacturer guidance and project agreement. Do not rely on a generic solar panel maintenance checklist as a replacement for system-specific instructions.

Why discuss your solar project with Express Mission?

Express Mission approaches solar as a technical project scope rather than only a panel purchase. Customers can discuss engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and related site coordination through one project conversation.

Where a site also requires temporary power during planned work, review genset rental Malaysia and temporary power distribution. Another related project service is HDD works.

FAQs

Commercial Solar FAQ

EPCC means engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. The exact activities, deliverables and responsibilities should be defined in the project proposal and agreed scope.

Express Mission can assess commercial and industrial solar requirements, including a solar panel for factory project. Suitability depends on electricity use, installation space, site and structural conditions, electrical infrastructure and the confirmed project scope.

Yes. Express Mission can assess residential solar requirements based on the property’s electricity consumption, available roof area, roof and shading conditions, electrical infrastructure and the agreed project scope.

No savings figure should be guaranteed without site-specific technical and financial analysis. Actual performance and commercial outcomes depend on system design, site conditions, energy use, operating conditions, applicable programmes and other project assumptions.

Eligibility and current programme requirements must be checked for the specific project. Share the site and project information so the applicable requirements can be reviewed; approval should not be assumed in advance.

These options can be discussed if relevant, but availability and terms depend on the project and commercial parties. Confirm the preferred commercial model during the initial enquiry.

Prepare the site address, property type, recent electricity information, operating profile, available roof or installation area, electrical details if available and the project’s commercial objectives.
